Michael Hyatt first came to my attention about two years ago while attending a business development conference in Milwaukee. He had recently released the book “Platform: Get Noticed in a Noisy World-A Step-By-Step Guide for Anyone with Something to Say or Sell”.
That book as was his presentation, brilliant.
Michael made his mark as a book publisher. Platform was his cook book for wannabe authors on how to get the attention of publishers and serves as a perfect text for anyone looking to be the visible expert in their field… like Realtors!
Efforts to be successful soon began to take a toll on Michael's personal life and physical wellness. At the suggestion of a close friend Michael hired a personal coach to coach him from having more than a successful business, to have a success life.
That coach was Daniel Harkavy of founder of the executive coaching firm Building Champions, Inc. and co-author of Living Forward.
Recently at the conclusion of a BOLD Business Coaching program that I was in with Jamie Zeitz of Home Bridge Lending, Jamie gifted me “Living Forward” and that’s how this book got the be the reviewed for this month.
There’s no sweater gift than the gift of knowledge and in the words of sales great Charlie “Tremendous” Jones “You will be the dame person in five years as you are today except for the people you meet and the books your read”.
